Private Events
I offer private pottery events in your home for groups of 4 to 12 people, where everyone can create their own tiny ceramic animal. I'll bring all the clay, tools, and equipment needed, so all you have to do is gather your favourite people and enjoy some creative time together.
Once your tiny creatures are complete, I'll take them back to my studio to be glazed and fired. A few weeks later, they'll be ready to collect as unique handmade keepsakes.
Perfect for hen parties, birthdays, family celebrations, or simply a fun get-together with friends looking to try something a little different.

Duration & Group Size
I can work with you to accommodate your time constraints; however, I recommend allowing at least one hour per group to ensure participants get the most from the experience.
For larger teams, participants should ideally be divided into groups of no more than 15 people. This allows me to provide individual guidance and ensure everyone receives the attention and support they need. For very large groups, I can arrange for a second instructor to join me so that the workshop runs smoothly and everyone has an enjoyable experience.
Whether you're looking for a team-building activity, an employee wellbeing initiative, or a creative break from the working day, a ceramic workshop offers a memorable and rewarding experience that everyone can enjoy.

Thank you Joelle & The Ceramic Garden for delivering such a fantastic pottery workshop as part of our organisational wellbeing event. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. You created a relaxed environment , gave encouraging instruction, and ran everything to time while managing multiple groups with ease. I highly recommend to any organisation looking for an inclusive activity that can be enjoyed by everyone while supporting wellbeing, creativity and connection. Thank you for helping make our wellbeing event such a success.

Being new to hand building, I was looking to take a class where I could make something in one day, and Joelle’s ‘tiny animals’ course provided the perfect opportunity. Joelle showed us how to bring character and charm to their faces, and sure enough, by the end of the course, there was a menagerie of cute creatures that just need to be bisque fired before we could bring them home. The ‘tiny animals’ course would be a great activity for a team building day, family outing, friends’ party or even to attend on your own as Joelle has a natural ability to create a fun, creative space for all. You’ll leave with a new skill, a little animal and a big desire to make more. Highly recommend!
